Description

24R-Calcipotriol (PRI 2202) is an impurity found in Calcipotriol, also known as Calcipotriene or MC 903, which functions as a ligand for VDR-like receptors. It has an IC50 value as a Vitamin D3 analog that minimally affects calcium homeostasis while regulating cell differentiation and proliferation. Calcipotriol demonstrates antiproliferative activity against various cancer cell lines, including human HL-60, HL60/MX2, MCF-7, T47D, SCC-25, and mouse WEHI-3 cells.[1,2,3]
